Nine kidnapped people have been rescued during a coordinated security operation in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, according to reports published on July 30.
The operation involved the Department of State Services, Kwara State Forest Guards, local hunters and vigilante personnel. Three suspected bandits were reported killed during an exchange in the Ejiu Ora and Osi axis, while one rescued victim was receiving treatment for injuries.
